	How Does This System Work?
All children are individually selected by a PURSAN NGO’s Officer, who hails from the same locality. Only very poor or orphan students are selected.

In Urdu, Pushto & Persian languages PURSAN means, " To ask about someone's well being, with an intention to provide help and assistance".

PURSAN (Pak Urban - Rural Support & Advocacy Network) is a public Welfare Organization presently Operating in District Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtun-khwa (KPK). It is registered with Directorate of Social Welfare, KPK.

PURSAN will strive for the over-all socio-economic and cultural development of the area under its jurisdiction. Prominent fields of operation will include:
Gender main-streaming.
Women economic and social empowerment.
Establishing of Women and Child health, Protection, Welfare and Facilitation Centers.
Assistance for Women Victims and Survivors, during the immediate aftermath and early recovery stages.

Child Protection and Education.

Poverty Alleviation.
